The Rotary Club of Effurun in a joint project with Rotary Clubs of Edjeba, and Bendel Estate District 9141 Nigeria in collaboration with Westend Hospital, Safari Group, Maden Healthcare Foundation and DNHK Group on Wednesday 4th September executed a project on Food Medical and clothing (FMC).
The project catered for over 700 indigent households drawn from communities around Edjeba, and Effurun in Uvwie and Warri South LGAs.
The beneficiaries were provided with health check and treatment on Malaria, HBP, Hepatitis B, Diabetes and many more, Dental care & Visual checks. Each beneficiary went home with mosquitoe treated nets, clothing items and a food pack containing rice, beans, vegetable oil and tomatoe paste. They expressed gratitude to the collaborating Rotary Clubs for the gesture at a time like this.
This project is in line with the District and Rotary International Area of Focus on Disease Prevention and treatment in a bid to serve humanity..
